Kilkenny boss Brian Cody has made six changes to his side for Sunday’s Allianz Hurling League Division 1 Group B second round clash against Antrim.
TJ Reid is left out of the Leinster champions’ matchday squad and it has not yet been confirmed whether their marksman is injured or merely being rested.
Coming into the starting line-up from last weekend’s win over Dublin are goalkeeper Darren Brennan, defenders Tommy Walsh and David Blanchfield, Richie Reid at centre-field and Liam Blanchfield and Alan Murphy in attack.
Along with talisman Reid, Eoin Murphy, Ciaran Wallace, Darragh Corcoran, Richie Leahy (injured) and John Donnellan are the players to make way.
Antrim travel to Nowlan Park looking for back-to-back upsets after tearing up the script against Clare at Corrigan Park on opening weekend.
Throw-in is at 1.30pm.
Kilkenny (HL1 v Antrim): Darren Brennan; Tommy Walsh, Hu Lawlor, Paddy Deegan; David Blanchfield, Padraig Walsh, Conor Browne; Richie Reid, Cillian Buckley; Liam Blanchfield, Eoin Cody, Martin Keoghan; James Bergin, Adrian Mullen, Alan Murphy.
