Padraig Pearses manager Pat Flanagan believes that his charges are learning with each game they play in the Connacht club SFC.

Following their first ever Roscommon SFC win last month, the Woodmount outfit are still on the road as they defeated Sligo’s Tourlestrane in the opening round before  beating London champions Tir Chonaill Gaels last Sunday afternoon to reach the provincial decider.

It has been a remarkable run for the Roscommon side who have one major hurdle to climb if they are to lift the title.

They face defending Galway, Connacht and All-Ireland club champions Corofin in what will be billed as a David vs. Goliath clash.

And Flanagan told the Roscommon Herald that they have focused on each game as it comes trying to learn from each as they now face their toughest task.

“We took our championship in stages and we’re doing the same with this,” stated the former Offaly, Westmeath and Sligo manager.

“We’ve broken it down into three hourly games and we’ve one hour to go. So hopefully we can push on from here, learn as much as we possibly can and be the best we can in the Connacht final.”
