Replying To Lockjaw:  "It is a very interesting time of the year with different clubs and styles going into battle against clubs from other counties and provinces. Hopefully the weather will be reasonable enough over the coming weeks.

In Ulster, I would say Kilcoo will be the team to beat. They have a tough opener against the Tyrone champions. A lot of people think this will be Trillick, but history has shown that predicting the Tyrone champions is a tricky task.
Naomh Conaill from Donegal have a tough assignment away to the Monaghan champions. But if they got over that they'd fancy their chances. A very difficult team to beat. Ciaran Thompson is a massive loss to them though."
Would Newbridge from Derry fancy themselves as dark horses?

Yeah Derry club football is strong so their senior champions always have to be respected.
I see Jordan Morris plays his club ball for Cavan champions Kingscourt. They'd be no mugs either. Every county champion is there on merit so I'm sure no manager of any team will be taking anything for granted.

Plundered is an unusual choice of words. I think you'd find that any lads trying to make a go of AFL are choosing to, not being forced to.

If they can get out of Roscommon they will definitely be eying Connacht but they will have their work cut out to beat Padraig Pearses who seem to be just peaking at the right time and will fancy themselves to beat Brigids. Very hard one to call. Pearses will be disgusted they left a Connacht title behind them last year and would have the belief to take down anyone.
