Would Newbridge from Derry fancy themselves as dark horses?

Yeah Derry club football is strong so their senior champions always have to be respected. I see Jordan Morris plays his club ball for Cavan champions Kingscourt. They'd be no mugs either. Every county champion is there on merit so I'm sure no manager of any team will be taking anything for granted. Lockjaw (Donegal) - Posts: 10086 - 20/10/2025 13:35:25 2640805 Link 0 |
Plundered is an unusual choice of words. I think you'd find that any lads trying to make a go of AFL are choosing to, not being forced to.

If they can get out of Roscommon they will definitely be eying Connacht but they will have their work cut out to beat Padraig Pearses who seem to be just peaking at the right time and will fancy themselves to beat Brigids. Very hard one to call. Pearses will be disgusted they left a Connacht title behind them last year and would have the belief to take down anyone.
