Former Tyrone star Sean Cavanagh sees Kerry as “the best challengers” to Dublin this summer.

The Kingdom hit Tyrone for six goals this past weekend in the Allianz Football League Division 1 semi-final at Fitzgerald Stadium, where the hosts ran-out 16-point winners and moved into another decider against the Dubs.

Speaking on RTE’s Allianz League Sunday, Cavanagh said he reckons Peter Keane’s charges are the team best equipped to bring an end to the capital men’s reign.

"We saw them with the leash on against Cork last year, but the leash was well and truly off on Saturday," the three-time All-Ireland winner stated.

"Even when it's your own county taking a hammering you can only be impressed by the level of skill and the way they can play the game.

"In terms of the league I think Saturday proved that Kerry are the best challengers that we have for Dublin at the minute."
