Jason Doherty has been named in Mayo’s starting line-up for Sunday’s Allianz Football League Division 1 clash against Donegal at Markievicz Park (throw-in 1.30pm).

Ravaged by injury the past two seasons, the Burrishoole attacker made his last appearance for the Connacht champions against Donegal in the Super 8s in August 2019 when he suffered a cruciate ligament injury.

The clash in Sligo will see Doherty’s much welcomed return for Mayo fans in a game which is also set to see Lee Keegan making his 130th appearance for the county.

James Horan had handed Knockmore’s Aiden Orme his first league start for the game, while Aidan O’Shea and Brendan Harrison are named amongst his substitutes.
