Fair play to my old school mates Enda and Terry on their stance on not travelling to Newry. Their responce was realistic and genuine . Longford asked to get their game transferred out Celtic Park and were refused they should have done the same as Leitrim. Terry said he was surprised that other counties had no problems with covid but what about his own county - entire clubs are affected yet Cavan went to Newbridge. Over half the Fermanagh panel were affected but they went to Clare . How can anybody be critical of Terry or the LEITRIM co board for trying to save lives-hats off to them . . Shame on Power for cribbing hopefully Leitrim can return the compliment to him.

Great display from Mayo but cannot say the same of Coldrick . He should have red carded Fitzsimons and black carded Cooper , it is dispicable that that he didnt send off Fitzsimons for such a dangerous tackle that could have resulted in serious injury. T he referees primary responsibility is applying the rules for the protection of players and on this count he failed miserably. Thanks to Mayo for giving us such enjoyment this year and many years in the past. in Longford our only hope of seeing Sam Maguire is it passing trough to Mayo which I thing we will see soon. What hope have we in Longford out numbered 50 to 1 in population and 1000 to 1 financeally. Mayo abu.

Congrats to Mayo considering that they had to play against the All Ireland champions
and an extra man for all of ordinary time The ref only gave fair play to Mayo when he saw that they were going to win the game. Small,s tackle on McLaughlin not only deserved a red card but should carry a prison sentence. No sport allows a player to use his elbow to break another players jaw in 2 places-not even boxing. Hope Mayo can win the All Ireland now

Declannkillann" Yes Declann Thomas got the 2nd yellow for applauding the Ref but I am not sure what rule he was breaking except that Cluxton is a more protected species than the corncrake

Delighted to see Enda taking apot at O Se , 0 Se likes to occupy the high moral ground and LEITRIM LONGFORD and SLIGO are only rubbish to him. What would happen if 1/2 the Kerry team got covid would they go out and get beaten by Cork-Idont think so. O Se would argue that they should get the game refixed for a later date because Kerry are so important to the GAA

Replying To Spinx: "Sick to see Mullinalaghta win. They'll be as hard listened to as the Killoes for the next 12 months." Congrats to Mullinalaghta on their fantastic win. They are role models for all the rest of us in other clubs. They are the only club from Longford to reach a Leinster final and win it. They will be strong contenders for Leinster again and good luck to them.
