Replying To B&G: "Slashers seeing that they did not makethe championship knockout stages obviously sees the league as theirt only avenue to success. With St Columbas now concentrating on LeinsterS;ashers should be favourites for the Leader Cup as they are concetrating on it siince early august" Yeah of course Slashers are favourites against the winner's of the last two county finals and last year's Leader Cup Winners. Some people really haven't got a clue.

Championship venues - 1 Like(s)
I would love to know what thinking goes into deciding venues for matches. The game's should be as close to half way as possible for each team. St. Columba's V Slashers in Higginstown which is only down the road from St. Columba's. Last year the county board brought Killoe and Slashers out to Lynch park when they could have played in Allen park which would have been a short journey for both sets of players and supporters. The County board really are clueless.
