Waterford accept Antrim offer to move league clash to Dundalk

Antrim v Waterford will go ahead this Sunday at the Geraldines GAA club grounds

This weekend’s forfeited Allianz Football League Division 4 clash between Antrim and Waterford is now set to go ahead.

Waterford confirmed this morning that they accepted an offer from their opponents to play the game at a neutral venue after conceding the points earlier this week over players’ travel concerns.

Having originally been scheduled for Portglenone, the game will no go ahead in Dundalk tomorrow afternoon at 2.00pm. 

In a statement this morning, Waterford GAA said they had accepted the offer which was made by Antrim yesterday evening.

"Waterford last night agreed to Antrim's generous offer to play the Allianz League game in Dundalk. The game was confirmed later last night for Geraldines Louth GAA club grounds,” it read.
