Shane Lennon will remain in charge of the Crossmaglen Rangers senior footballers in 2026.
The former Louth forward has been reappointed for a second year, with Gerry Seaver also continuing as coach. The Armagh giants were knocked out at the semi-final stage of the Gerry Fagan Cup race this year after suffering a late fadeout against Cullyhanna. They won the last of their 47 Armagh SFC titles in 2023 and are expected to be among the leading contenders again next year.
"We can confirm that Shane Lennon has been re-appointed as the manager of Crossmaglen Rangers Senior Team. Shane will be assisted once again by coach, Gerry Seaver & S&C coach James Doyle," the south Armagh club confirmed in a social media post.
Meanwhile, another former Louth attacker, Stefan White, has been named manager of Clan na Gael.
White lined out for the Dundalk club for seven years in the 1990s, during which he won back-to-back Louth SFC titles in 1992 and '93. He began his playing career with O'Connells in Castlebellingham before going on to play for the Clans, Castleblayney Faughs and Burren as well as Louth and Monaghan at inter-county level.
