Kerry star David Moran has revealed that he is likely to decide on his inter-county future in the new year.

Having helped the Kingdom to All-Ireland glory for the third time this past summer, Moran is hoping to keep the silverware coming this weekend as he and his Kerins O’Rahillys team mates take on Newcastle West in the Munster club SFC final.

The midfielder has skipped Kerry’s team holiday to line-out with his club and, after Saturday’s clash with the Limerick champions at Pairc Ui Rinn (7.30pm), he's set to spend some time mulling over his inter-county future.

"I met with Jack [O'Connor] a while back and I just said, 'look, I want to keep playing with the club', I'll probably take Christmas to decide and then we'll decide in the new year or whatever," Moran is quoted saying by RTE Sport.

"At the moment I'm with the club and I'm trying to bring that as far as I can.

"The reality of life is that it doesn't feel that long of a year because we have been winning. It's great to still be involved at this time of the year. It's a special place to be for a club."
