Dingle have been boosted by the availability of AFL star Mark O'Connor for Sunday's Munster club SFC final against St Finbarr's at FBD Semple Stadium.

Geelong have reportedly given O'Connor permission to line out in the decider before he returns to Australia for pre-season training ahead of the start of the 2026 AFL campaign in March.

Due to his Aussie Rules commitments, O’Connor wasn't available to Dingle when they lost the 2023 provincial final to Castlehaven on penalties, but is expected to play on this occasion after helping the West Kerry men end their 77-year wait for Kerry SFC glory in late October.
