25 years ago this month, Limerick legend Ciaran Carey sliced the Clare defence open to score the winning point that gave the Treaty County a memorable Munster SHC semi-final victory over the then reigning All-Ireland champions at the Gaelic Grounds.
Watch that famous point back here:
At the ripe old age of 51, the three-time All-Star turned out at full-back for his club Patrickswell against Templeglantine in a Junior B League game yesterday.
The 'Well finished on the wrong end of a 1-16 to 2-12 scoreline but you have to admire Carey still pulling on the jersey and minding the house for Patrickswell after all those years.
