Cavan GAA appoints first Head of Operations

Martin Cahill has been unveiled as Cavan GAA's first Head of Operations.
The Denn clubman was the successful candidate for the role which he will take up in February. The appointment comes ahead of the retirement of long-time county secretary and full-time administrator Liam McCabe.
Cahill's involvement with the county board goes back to 1987 when he was elected secretary of the Youth Board. He has served as county board treasurer since 2007.
