The Government have given the GAA the green light to resume the 2020 inter-county minor and U20 championships.

On 21 October, it was confirmed that the competitions had been 'paused until further notice' as the country entered Level 5 restrictions for six weeks. But All-Ireland senior championships matche were allowed to take place.

Following the move back to Level 3 from today, 'approved inter-county gaelic games' are permitted, including minor and U20 championships.

The All-Ireland U20FC final between Galway and Dublin has been reported as a potential curtain raiser to the senior decider at Croke Park on December 19. The All-Ireland MFC, MHC and U20HC are only at the provincial stage.

Leinster GAA have acted swiftly by confirming re-fixture details for its MHC and MFC competitions with new U20HC arrangements due to be released tomorrow.
