Rigged Qualifier Draws - 6 Like(s)
I hear a lot of people are expressing scepticism regarding the GAA qualifier draws and the way the big teams are kept apart. The feeling is that it suits the GAA to have Tyrone, Mayo and Monaghan in the Super 8s. Is it possible that the draw is rigged? After all its not that long ago when they declared that the draw taking place on RTE was live when in fact it was recorded. This time around it is strange the way Kildare and Cavan were the first two teams drawn for home fixtures when it was perceived that neither could host a home fixture?

Leinster needs Kildare and Meath no more than they need Dublin, Carlow, Wexford, Kilkenny, Wicklow, Laois, Offaly, Louth, Longford or Westmeath. Although you might think so, Kildare and Meath are by no means special.

Just heard Liam Brady explain why Ronaldo was not sent off this evening against Iran "They (FIFA) want the big teams in the tournament". Same does for the GAA, they are prepared to anything to achieve that.

Two tier championship - 2 Like(s)
A two tier championship is a no brainer. It has to come in. Move the minor (u17) final out of Croke Park and play two senior finals (A & B) on the same day. I believe this would revitalise football in the 'lesser' counties.

While sectarian abuse (if that is what it really is) is deplorable, our northern brethern, supporters and players, are not beyond abusing the opposing players and supporters.

I'm not blaming Dublin at all. Good luck to them. Its the body that is supposed to represent the twelve counties in the province fairly, that I have a problem with.
