Dublin manager Dessie Farrell has confirmed that Jack McCaffrey and Paul Mannion will be returning to the capital men’s panel next season.
McCaffrey (28) has not featured for the Dubs since the 2019 All-Ireland SFC final replay victory over Kerry, while the 29-year-old Mannion's last appearance in the sky blue was as a substitute in the six-in-a-row clinching decider against Mayo the following year.
The news comes as a huge boost to Farrell who confirmed it when speaking to DubsGAA TV at Parnell Park following the conclusion of the Dublin SFC quarter-finals.
"The good news is we will have Jack McCaffrey and Paul Mannion rejoining the squad next year as well so that'll be a great help to us in terms of the development and continuous evolution of the team and the squad,” he said.
