New Cork manager Brian Cuthbert has named four former players as his football selectors for the upcoming season.

Ronan McCarthy, Owen Sexton, Ciarán O'Sullivan and Don Davis will assist Cuthbert as he cuts his teeth at intercounty management.

Douglas man McCarthy was a selector under Conor Counihan in 2013 while Sexton won an All-Ireland MFC medal on the same team as Cuthbert in 1993.

O'Sullivan, who was wing back beside Sexton for many years, played his football with Urhan.

Don Davis, brother of Tony, along with the other three selectors, played in Cork's 1999 All-Ireland final defeat to Meath. Tweet
