Former Cork camogie boss Paudie Murray looks set to be named the Rebel County’s new minor hurling manager.

Murray steered Cork to four All-Ireland senior camogie titles since taking charge in 2012 and also guided the intermediate side to glory in 2018.

Two weeks ago, Cork were defeated by Galway in the All-Ireland decider on a 1-15 to 1-12 at Croke Park.

Previous to taking the role as camogie boss with his native county, Murray managed Dohenys – a club he captained to JAFC success back in 1995 – and a has also worked with hurling development squads over the past two years.

Now echolive.ie reports that Murray is in line for the Cork minor hurling post left vacant by Noel Furlong after the Carrigtwohill clubman departed following his team’s All-Ireland triumph in August.
