U20s

Our U20s were defeated by 5-21 to 4-11 by Cornafean on Sunday last  in the U20 Division 4 Championship in Rory O'Moore Park. Trailing by 1-12 to 1-5 at half time the second half proved to be a real goalfest with Oisin Rooney bagging two goals for the Rorys one from open play and one from the penalty spot with Fionan Donohoe bagging the other goal tapping in a a rebound from a penalty save from the Cornafean goalkeeper. The young Rorys played some fine football at times with some fine performances but ran into a Cornafean team who were very accurate with their shooting and who punished any turnovers high up the pitch to score some of their second half goals. The lads still are well placed to book a semi final spot with another group game to come.

 

Minor Ladies

Our Minor Ladies  defeated Ballymachugh by 6-7 to 1-12  on  Sunday last in Rory O'Moore Park in the Minor Division 4 League.  Our Minor Ladies travel to Drung GAA Grounds this Sunday November 28 to face St.Finbarr's at 11am in the Division 4 Minor League Semi Final. 

 

Senior AGM

Our Senior Men's AGM takes place on Friday December 3 at 8pm in Belturbet Town Hall. 

 

Home Heating Oil Winner

Congratulations to Trevor Dunne who was the winner of the 500 Litres of Home Heating Oil in the lotto draw on November 14.

Club Membership    

Many thanks for your continued strong and loyal support for our club. Family Membership in Club Belturbet is €300 for the year or €240 for the year for an individual membership in Club Belturbet.  If any member wishes to purchase the regular membership the fee for the year is €50. Membership fees for 2021 can be paid  to our club chairman Paul O'Reilly, Vice-Chairman Mark Lawlor or indeed any of the club committee.
