Planning approval has been granted for Casement Park which means that Ulster GAA can, at long last, proceed with the development of a new 34,578 capacity stadium in Belfast.

Stormont Infrastructure Minister Nichola Mallon granted final planning approval for the project today.

It brings to an end an arduous process that was delayed by various set-backs and the news has been warmly welcomed by Antrim GAA…
