Cavan Seniors

Congratulations to the Cavan Senior team and Management team who defeated Donegal by 1-13 to 0-12  in the Athletic Grounds Armagh  in the Ulster Championship Final last Sunday ending a long wait since 1997 when Cavan were last crowned Ulster Champions when our very own Jason O'Reilly bagged the memorable winning goal against Derry in Clones.

Best wishes to Jimmy in his retirement

All at the club extend our best wishes to Jimmy Coen, Margaret and family on his work retirement and thank him for his years of service in our community. Jimmy served the Garda Siochana for over 40 years with class and distinction serving the whole county and every community he served in magnificently. Jimmy also formed a dynamic management team with Declan O'Reilly and Patsy Teevan which coached a lot of our current Senior players all the way up through the underage ranks to U21 Level in the club and has left a lasting legacy within our club. We wish Jimmy and his family well in his retirement and again extend our thanks for all Jimmy has contributed to our club spanning several decades.

Cavan Camogie

Well done to the Cavan Camogie Team who defeated Roscommon by 2-16 to 1-6 in the All Ireland Junior Championship Semi Final on Saturday last.
