RIP Joachim Potratz

Ballinagh GAA were sadden to hear of the passing of Joachim Potratz. Joachim is the father of Claudia Potratz. Many will know Claudia through the club with all the work she has been involved in over the years. She was a secretary of the club for a number of years up until just last year and continues to work on the GAA club lotto, involvement with the juveniles in the club as well as ongoing managing of the Astro Turf. Claudia’s children also are involved in helping and playing with the club. Claudia has spent the last few years caring for her late father. We would like to extend our sympathy to Claudia, Joachim's wife Sonja, his grandchildren, Shauna May, Stefanie, Katie Anne, and Brian, sister Margarete and Son in Law Sean Reilly. Our thoughts are with Potratz family and friends at time.

 

 

Thank You

We would like to thank our members and wider members of the community for continuing to adhere government guidelines with regards to the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. Can you please continue to wear face coverings, wash your hands, refrain from touching your face, sneeze into a tissue and then dispose of it and cough into you elbow. Please stay safe and look out for the elderly and vulnerable. The field and GAA activities will remain suspended until further notice

Lotto Results

The numbers drawn for the week ending 19/10/20 were 8-15-17-29, No Jackpot winner. Winners of the €25 are Gus Bogue (Online), Noel Delaney, Gerard O’Reilly, Mi O’Brien. The losing ticket drawn this week to be entered into the draw for a weekend away at the end of the month was Thomas Sheridan (Urney).
