CLUB LOTTO RESULTS

 

Our weekly lotto jackpot was €12,300, Draw took place on Thursday 31 October in club rooms at our weekly bingo.

Numbers drawn were 8, 15, 18 & 30. No Jackpot Winner

Congratulations to our €25 lucky dip Fiona McGovern (Crosserlough), Peggy Mailireen (Gornakesh), Tom Reilly (Killeshandra) and Denis Lynch (Cavan) .Our lotto jackpot climbs to a whopping €12,400 this week with the draw taking place in club rooms this Thursday night. SATURDAY 16 NOVEMBER- GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATION

 

This year, we celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the 1969 Intermediate County Championship & league winning team. We would like to remind you of our night of celebration where the club are hosting a Golden Jubilee celebration evening in the Orchard Bar on Saturday 16 November to honour the achievements of our 1969 Intermediate championship and league winning team. There will be a presentation in the Orchard Bar for the 1969 and 1984 teams on the night with refreshments. There will be mass at 6pm in the Club rooms before the evening of celebration in the Orchard Bar. 

 

A night of celebration not to be missed. We look forward to seeing as many Drumalee members friends & family both past and present on the night. All welcome!!!

 

BINGO

 

Bingo continues every Thursday night in our club rooms with over €2,000 worth of prize money to be won! Doors open for bingo at 8pm commencing 9pm. Bring your family, friends and neighbours for a fun evening out.

 

U13 Naomh Brid

Hard luck to Naomh Brid U13’s who were beaten by a stronger Killygarry side in the semi-final of the championship last week. It has been a great season for the U13’s who put in a huge effort to get this far in the championship. Well done to all the players and management on a great campaign. A big thank you to coach Fergal Duffy from Drumalee club for all his work with the team this season. 

 

JUVENILES U7 & U9

Well done to our underage players U7’s & U9’s who finished up their season on Saturday morning with an in house tournament for the Denis O’Keeffe memorial cup, blitzes and games. A great morning of football and fun for all. Thanks to all who helped out on the morning and thanks to parents who brought home baked goodies for the players to enjoy. 

A big thank you to our juvenile chairperson Niall Sheridan for his hard work  and organisation this year and our underage coaches Tomas, Niall, Aidan, Cathal, Shane, Tom for all their hard work , dedication and support throughout the year. It is greatly appreciated by the club and players. Congrats to all our U/7/U9 players on a great season of football, thanks for all our young stars for their hard work and commitment every week.

A big thanks also to all the parents/guardians for all your support all year. We look forward to seeing you in the new year! 

Drumalee GAA Underage cater for boys & girls from 4 years upwards. Our Underage section offer a friendly, safe, and fun environment to learn the skills of Gaelic Football & to make new friends. BOXERCISE CLASSES

Boxercise Classes continue in the Club Hall with Boxercise Cavan/Boris. Class times are Tuesday evenings 7.30pm, Thursday evenings 6.30 pm & Saturday mornings at 8am am. Kids Boxercise classes also on Monday evenings at 6pm. All fitness levels. Pay as you go €5 per class. Contact Boris – 087-7994929 for further information.

 

WIN A DREAM IN DUBLIN 15

Cavan GAA are offering one lucky winner to win a house in Barnwell, Dublin 15 for €100. All proceeds from the draw will go towards the development of the Cavan GAA Polo grounds Centre of Excellence at Kingspan Breffni. Drumalee GAA have some tickets for sale and if anyone would like to purchase, please contact the Chairperson Cyril O’Keeffe or any committee member.

Sympathies- Mary McCabe RIP

Our club extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to the entire McCabe & Greenan families on the passing of Mary McCabe recently. Her funeral took place at the Cathedral of St Patrick & St Feilim on Friday 25 October where the club provided a guard of honour as a mark of respect. Our thoughts are with Gerry, Mary’s husband, her brothers Miceal and Eamonn, sister Noreen and the extended McCabe/Greenan families at this sad time. May she rest in peace.

Sympathies- Cathal Flood, RIP

Our club extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to the entire Flood family on the recent death of Cathal Flood, Billis, Cavan. His funeral took place at the Cathedral of St Patrick & St Feilim on Saturday 26 October where the club provided a guard of honour as a mark of respect. Cathal was a former treasurer of our club and will be sorely missed as a friend and neighbour. Our thoughts and prayers are with Cathal’s children Ronan, Colm, Declan, Patricia, his sister Patty and the entire extended Flood family at this sad time. May he rest in peace.
