In a lovely touch, Monaghan have left the centre back position vacant for this evening's Ulster U20FC final against Down at the Athletic Grounds.

The position had been filled in the semi-final win over Donegal a fortnight ago by Brendan Óg Duffy, who tragically lost his life in a car accident as he returned home from the game.

In what is set to be an emotional occasion, Ronan Grimes takes over the Monaghan captaincy from the late Brendan Óg.
