Horan to be part of Quirke's Laois backroom team

Former Limerick manager Maurice Horan has been named as a selector with new Laois manager Mike Quirke.
Quirke's appointment was ratified tonight and the news was confirmed that Horan, a Limerick manager for three years, is a selector alongside Ballyroans' Eoin Kearns.
Also at tonight's meeting, Eddie Brennan was confirmed as senior hurling manager for another year.
