Rosemount GAA notes

August 21, 2017

It's a big week on the Gaa front. We take on Castledaly this Wednesday evening at 7pm in Moate, followed by Maryland next Sunday with details TBC. It's two massive games for us, two wins, and with a bit of luck will see us hopefully secure a play off spot for the knock out stages depending on other results in the group. With a few injuries slowly starting to clear up let's hope we can take the confidence from our last win over Caulry into this game and grab two more point. We are also out in the JFC vs Tyrrellspass Thursday evening 7pm in Rosemount. Two wins from our final two games over the next week will put us in a position to qualify for the quarter finals for the second year running. All support appreciated for all games.

Our u14's had a super win over Moate All Whites in the championship last Sunday morning. Well done to

all players and management on a great win.

Our bi weekly lotto is still every second Monday night. Our last draw was Monday 21st, our next lotto will be Monday 4th September. This is the clubs main source of income , so we would ask everyone to support where possible. Tickets available from all committee members, as well in The Stile Bar.

Congratulations are in order to Aaron Keane, who is now an all Ireland champion. Aaron won the u16 200m All Ireland in the Community Games finals which took place in Dublin last Sunday morning. A very proud moment for the young man, and for his parents David & Geraldine and all his family. Super stuff Aaron.

Well done to all our club members who got there leaving cert results last week, onwards and upwards from here on in I'm sure. We wish you all the very best of luck what ever path you choose.

Walking track lights are now off for the summer months. Only those with membership paid are permitted and insured to use the walking track. Hard time believe we are heading for September and the short evenings, and with this revised times will be announced in due course for the winter months.

Astro Turf: Bookings available for the Astroturf Pitch, only €35 per hour. For more information or to make a booking contact Kevin Keenan on 0879481521.
