Tipperary are sweating over the fitness of star forward Seamus Callanan ahead of Sunday week's Munster SHC final.

Callanan who has been in impressive form this year was injured while training with the county a fortnight ago.

The talented full forward missed his club Drom Inch's impressive Tipperary SHC win over Thurles Sarsfields last weekend.

And now the Tipp management are hoping that they don't lose a player of Callanan's calibre for the provincial decider against Waterford.

The Premier County must already plan without John O'Dwyer who was shown a straight red card in the semi-final win over Limerick.
