The county senior football championship final has been pencilled in for Sunday, October 25th.

For the championship to be concluded by then, clubs will be forced to play every week and even midweek on some occasions.

The Waterford champions will then compete in the Munster club SFC the following week on November 1st when they are at home to their Cork counterparts.

Meanwhile, a football forum will be held on October 5th in Dungarvan. Chairman Paddy Joe Ryan stated: "We will be talking about Waterford football present and future. We expect every club to attend."
