Over a grand each for All-Ireland final tickets...

A pair of tickets for the 2015 All-Ireland SFC final have been sold on eBay for €2,020.
The online auction closed at 6pm yesterday and saw the buyer commit to pay €1,010 each for the Lower Davin Stand tickets, which have a face value of €80. The seller, Waterford-based daithi77, promised to send the tickets out by registerd post today.
The new owners, who have paid over twelve times the original price for the tickets, will in effect pay €14.43 per minute each to witness Sunday's eagerly-awaited Dublin-Kerry clash - provided they make it into HQ!
The GAA has been attempting to clamp down on ticket touting, threatening to cancel any tickets that are sold for in excess of their face value.
