Waterford manager Derek McGrath breathed a sigh of relief earlier in the week after all his county players involved came through a round of club SHC fixtures unscathed.

A full round of senior hurling championship fixtures were played last weekend and there were no injuries reported from these games.

Waterford spent time in the Gold Coast Sports Complex in Ballinacourty as they continue their preparations for the Munster SHC final against Tipperary on Sunday week.

Meanwhile, Tipp continued their preparations with a challenge win over Laois on a scoreline of 2-15 to 0-16.
