Waterford under-21 manager Derek Lyons is all for concentrating on the present.
A lot has been made of Waterford under-21's win over Cork in the Munster hurling championship as they won a tie at this level for the first time in the last six attempts.
There is a lot of talk of where this team can go now, but Lyons stressed to the Waterford News & Star that they are not getting carried away.
"This is about this team; we are not bringing any baggage with us from the past," said Lyons. "There is no extra weight on us other than the responsibility that we have as a management team to bring this team to as far as we possibly can with the ability that they have.
"That's a huge responsibility and one that we are not going to shirk away from."
