Waterford ace Pauric Mahony has taken the first step on the road to recovery from his leg break and has thanked everyone for the "messages and support" over the last few days.
The Deise's top scorer is set to be sidelined for up to six months after suffering a broken tibia playing for his club Ballygunner against Ballyduff in the first round of the county SHC last Saturday evening.
