Killian O'Sullivan was the toast of Cappoquin-Affane as they captured the Munster Club IHC title at the expense of Bruff in Mallow on Saturday.

O'Sullivan had the final say when pointing in the last minute to help carve a niche for Cappoquin as the first Waterford club to gain outright honours in the competition.

The left corner-forward also netted the game's only goal in the 40th minute to help his side overturn an 0-8 to 0-9 half-time deficit.

Shane O'Rourke's free-taking was another vital ingredient in their winning formula crucial as the right half-forward finished with five points (three frees and one 65) to his name.

The winners now advance to an All-Ireland semi-final against Ulster champions O'Donovan Rossa.
