The Nire 0-11
Stradbally 0-6

Five points from 18-year-old Conor Gleeson helped The Nire to their seventh Conway Cup success at the expense of arch-rivals Stradbally in Fraher Field, Dungarvan.

All of Gleeson's points came from play as the Ballymacarbry outfit set up a Munster club SFC meeting with Ballylanders of Limerick. Favoured by the wind in the opening half, the winners conceded early points to Michael Sweeney and Shane Ahearne, but they kicked five without reply in the second quarter to lead by 0-6 to 0-2 at the break.

On the restart, Stradbally narrowed the gap to three points, 0-6 to 0-9, thanks to two David Grey frees and a fine Andy Doyle effort from play, but The Nire closed out the game with late insurance points from Gleeson and free-taker and captain Shane Ryan.
