Two more of the Waterford senior hurling management team have left their roles.

Physical trainer Keith Hennessy and coach Frank Flannery have stood down from their respective roles, following Willie Maher's departure last week.

Flannery revealed to the Waterford News & Star that his decision was based on work on study commitments.

"I am moving away from Cork to pursue new work and study commitments this coming January and therefore I would not be able to give the time and commitment that role needs and deserves," said Flannery.

"I have really enjoyed my time with the Waterford senior hurlers backroom team and wish Derek and the players every success for 2015 and beyond as they continue the rebuilding process."

Speculation has mounted that Fergal O'Brien who worked with Peter Queally at Passage last year will take over from Hennessy as physical trainer.
