This weekend sees the Waterford senior football championship semi finals take place.

On Saturday evening, Fraher Field will be the venue for the meeting of defending champions Ballinacourty and their fierce rivals Stradbally.

This is set to be a cracking encounter between arguably the best two teams in the county and the winner will be favourites to win the title.

In the second semi final, Nire take on An Rinn next Sunday evening at Fraher Field also. The former will be favourites to advance to the decider.
