Over the course of this weekend, there will be two senior football championship quarterfinals played.

On Friday night, An Rinn and De La Salle meet in a novel pairing at Fraher Field. Following their exit from the SHC last weekend, the city side are free to concentrate on the big ball code.

However, they go into this clash as massive underdogs as An Rinn look to reach their second consecutive county semi final.

Then on Sunday, we have an intriguing clash as Stradbally take on Kilrossanty in what should be an epic encounter.

Fraher Field will also host this clash and Stradbally get the nod to advance, but this is one that could need a replay to split the sides.
