The Waterford senior hurling championship will return after a staggering fourteen week break.
Two rounds of the county senior hurling championship were played in April before the focus turned to Waterford's campaign.
Three weeks ago, Waterford lost out to Wexford in the All-Ireland SHC qualifiers and now the way is clear for the club scene to resume this weekend.
The amount of time elapsed between the second and third rounds of the championship are not too uncommon in many counties around the country as the club v. county fixture chaos continues.
