New York Minor board will be having their first ever New York Hurling Academy. Over recent years Hurling has grown at underage level with in New York at an impressive rate. Clubs are getting more kids out at training session and teams are playing more Hurling games know than ever before.  

The standard of skill in games continues to improve and it is hoped that by having an academy with coaches from different backgrounds, knowledge and experience it can continue it improve these players. Players will also receive information sheets on topics such as

-Injury prevention

-Hydration

-Nutrition

-Strength and Conditioning

-Lifestyle

The academy is open to anyone aged 11.12 and 13 who has some experience in playing Hurling or Camogie.

Registration forms will be available at the first two training sessions. Order for Academy kit will be made on Sunday the 13th of November. Players who register after this date will not receive kit.

U13 Academy

Dates & Times for U13 Academy are as follow:

U13 Hurling Development Training dates (All Gaelic Park)

• Sunday November 6th 5-7pm

• Sunday November 13th 7-9pm

• Sunday November 20th 7-9pm

• Sunday December 4th 7-9pm

• Sunday December 11th 7-9pm

$40 per player for Academy Each player will receive Hoodie and T-shirt
