The biggest Gaelic Games event in North America takes place this weekend in Seattle, from Friday through to Sunday evening with 2000 footballers and hurlers from Canada and the USA.

"It's going to be a fantastic experience for everyone," says Host Committee Chairman Brian White from the Seattle Gaels who are hosting the 'Nationals' in the Pacific Northwest for the very first time. 

Brian, who has family from Mayo and Tyrone, says the event coming to Seattle is "indicative of the growth of the GAA" across North America. There will be 100 teams from 50 different cities and it all starts at 8.00am on Friday with Baltimore v Setanta San Diego.
