It's Mayo and Dublin who are still standing in the Sam Maguire Cup race following Saturday's quarter-final double-header. Here is our football team of the week...

1. David Clarke (Mayo)

Has some work to do on his kick-outs but overall can be happy with his contribution as he pulled off a couple of fine stops to keep a clean sheet.

2. Philly McMahon (Dublin)

Tasked with the job of policing Michael Murphy, the Ballymun defender held Donegal's talisman scoreless from play and also popped up with a point at the other end of the field.

3. Neil McGee (Donegal)

Successfully curbed Bernard Brogan's influence but his efforts proved futile as Donegal made their exit at the hands of the holders.

4. David Byrne (Dublin)

Paddy McBrearty never looked like scaling the same lofty heights of his 11 point haul against Cork as he struggled to shake off Byrne's close attentions.

5. Lee Keegan (Mayo)

His personal duel with Sean Cavanagh was an intriguing sub-plot to the quarter-final clash and he kicked two magnificent points to edge the Connacht men over the line.

6. Ciaran Kilkenny (Dublin)

A massive 52 possessions for the Castleknock clubman who played an instrumental role in helping Dublin to dictate the pace of the last eight clash.

7. John Small (Dublin)

Performed his defensive duties diligently and also caused problems for the Donegal defence on his frequent forays forward.

8. Mattie Donnelly (Tyrone)

Sent over three first half points for the Red Hands and laid a second-half goal chance on a plate for Connor McAliskey with a delightful pass.

9. Aidan O'Shea (Mayo)

The physically imposing Breaffy man illustrated his importance to the Mayo cause with a 'man-of-the-match' contribution.

10. Kevin McManamon (Dublin)

Took the game to Donegal right from the start and made a number of timely interventions en route to finishing with three points to his name.

11. Peter Harte (Tyrone)

Defeat was a bitter pill to swallow for the all-action Harte who can't be faulted in any way for Tyrone's exit.

12. Ryan McHugh (Donegal)

The Donegal dynamo produced a another display brimming with endeavour and popped up to score the Tir Chonaill side's second-half goal.

13. Cillian O'Connor (Mayo)

Mayo needed their big men to stand up and be counted and O'Connor didn't shy away from the challenge, shooting three points from play on top of four converted frees.

14. Andy Moran (Mayo)

The Mayo captain used his experience to telling effect to drag the Tyrone defenders out of position and create space for his forward colleagues.

15. Paul Mannion (Dublin)

Only arrived on the pitch in the 56th minute but killed off Donegal's challenge with a superb individual goal and also raised a white flag.
