Western Division statement on Berkeley tragedy

As a mark of respect, all games scheduled for this coming weekend have been postponed until further notice.

All gaelic games under the jurisdiction of The Western Division Board that were scheduled for this weekend have been cancelled as a mark of respect to the six Irish students who lost their lives in the Berkeley tragedy.

A statement from The Western Division Board, which is the administrative body for the GAA in Northern California, reads: "The Western Division Board of the GAA extends its deepest sympathy to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in the tragedy in Berkeley, and our thoughts and prayers are with all those involved in and affected by it.

"As a mark of respect, all games scheduled for this coming weekend have been postponed until further notice."
