This afternoon we brought you live text commentary from four games.
There were three senior hurling championship matches down for decision as well as an Ulster SFC clash.
In that, Derry and Down went head to head at Celtic Park in the latest encounter up North.
The Leinster SHC continued with the remaining two quarterfinals down for decision as Laois hosted Offaly at O'Moore Park, while up the road in Mullingar, Westmeath entertained Wexford at Cusack Park.
Without doubt the big match of the day was Cork v. Waterford Part II as the sides renewed rivalries at Semple Stadium.
