Looking for a Gaelic football team? St Mikes are currently recruiting new players for all 3 teams. The club has a men's senior team, a men's intermediate team and a ladies senior team. If you are working or studying in Toronto or the surrounding area, or considering in doing so, we will make you feel at home in our ambitious close knit club.
The emphasis at St Mikes, along with being a professional successful club, is to make everyone welcome. Players of all abilities are encouraged to get involved. We have players in both men's and ladies teams from all over Ireland and also plenty of home grown Canadian players. As always the club are happy to help you source accommodation, employment and will help transport players to and from training.The club is currently planning for its 50th year gala in 2015. Our 50th anniversary gala will take place at Liberty Grand on Friday September 25th. We are honored to have Mickey Harte as our guest of honour for the evening.
In 2014 we won the Toronto Senior Men's Championship, the Senior Men's League and the Senior Ladies League finals. In 2015 we're looking to defend these titles and add a few more.
During the May long weekend in 2015, we'll be travelling to New York to play Rockland Gaa. This game has been organized to celebrate our 50th year anniversary and it certainly should be a great weekend for all involved in St Mikes.
Off the pitch, we have a booming social scene with regular events running throughout the year. Our next social event will be on Saturday the 11th of April at Paupers Pub at 5pm. Training for the season ahead started back in February, however we have a number of different activities that we run in the off season.
