Check out who made the cut in our first hurling team of the week of 2015 ...

1. David O'Gorman (UCC)

The college side's netminder was equal to Shane Nolan's well struck 25th minute penalty at Austin Stack Park on Saturday.

2. Conor Allis (Limerick)

Limerick's first competitive game of the new year resulted in a three-point victory over Waterford and they now turn their attention to a Waterford Crystal Cup semi-final against UCC.

3. Cillian Duggan (Clare)

The Banner County's full-back didn't look out of place as he made his senior debut against Tipperary.

4. Paul Mannion (Galway)

Mannion and Galway didn't have everything their own way against Westmeath in the Walsh Cup at Mullingar but they came good in the end.

5. Patrick Kelly (Kerry)

The Kingdom's new recruit from Clare enjoyed a promising debut against UCC despite the end result.

6. Lee Chin (Wexford)

Chin and his Model County team-mates experienced little difficulty in seeing off UCD's Walsh Cup challenge in Gorey.

7. Conor Cleary (Clare)

A prominent figure in last year's All-Ireland U21 winning team, Cleary was another debutant who caught the eye for the Banner County.

8. Martin O'Neill (Waterford)

The Deise midfielder finished as his side's top scorer with eight points - six from frees - in their three-point defeat by Limerick.

9. Brendan Bugler (Clare)

Clare came away with the spoils against their arch rivals in Sixmilebridge and the experienced Bugler got through a lot of good work around the middle third of the field.

10. Joe Kelly (Wexford)

Kelly's 64th minute goal hammered the final nail into UCD's coffin and the half-forward also raised six white flags during an enterprising display.

11. Brendan Maher (Tipperary)

The Borrisoleigh man accounted for seven points of his side's 0-15 tally but his injury-time attempt at an equaliser lacked the distance.

12. Bobby Duggan (Clare)

The hard-working half-forward put in a solid shift for Davy Fitzgerald's charges.

13. Adrian Breen (Limerick)

The debutant hit 1-2 for the Shannonsiders against the Deise and was singled out for special mention by coach Paul Beary in his post-match interview.

14. Jason Flynn (Galway)

The Galway full-forward was deadly accurate from placed balls, successfully converting 11 frees, and also hit 1-1 from general play.

15. Darren McCarthy (Cork)

Goalkeeper turned poacher, the ex-netminder gave Jimmy Barry-Murphy plenty of food for thought when striking home 2-2 against CIT.
