A former Westmeath underage star now domiciled in New York is desperately missing his Irish tea!

In a hilarious message sent to his younger brother Adam, Luke Loughlin revealed how he is craving a cup of good old Barry's or Lyons after having just three cups of tea since moving to the Big Apple eight months ago. The scoring star of the Westmeath minor football team which reached the Leinster final two years ago, Luke was immediately drafted into the county's senior squad by then manager Paul Bealin before deciding to move to New York.

The Downs clubman is currently training with the New York footballers ahead of the Connacht SFC opener against Roscommon in May.
