It's that time again!

October 14, 2014

On Sunday November 9th, 2014 St Patrick's Gaelic Football and Hurling Club will commemorate the "raising of the Jerseys" in the Carolan Room, at the Gaelic American Club, Fairfield from 4pm to 6pm.

This is a great opportunity to reconnect with friends, parents and team mates celebrating another terrific and successful year in the club.

The year got off to a great start with winter training for U-8's and upper ages where for six weeks upward on 60 new players joined to learn the basics on Gaelic football and hurling during the Annual Winter Training Program at The Field House in Fairfield, Connecticut. Following the final session, the new U8 players and their families were invited back to the Gaelic American Club for the 2014 Winter Training Graduation Ceremony, where Winter Training medals were presented.

St Patrick's teams certainly did themselves proud, with all teams making it through to the semi-finals or finals - winning 3 national titles and 2 runners up in New York at the 10th annual Continental Youth Championships that brought young Gaelic footballers and hurlers to Manhattan, Queens and the Bronx for a weekend of competition and Irish culture, the largest youth gathering of its kind outside of Ireland on the weekend of July 24-27th, 2014.
