An Taoiseach meets up with Leitrim and Kerry players ahead of New York senior final

Enda Kenny met with two of the star players involved in Sunday's New York Senior Football Championship final at the Irish Consulate in Manhattan during the week.

Leitrim forward Keith Quinn, a former Down player and currently representing New York, along with Kerry captain John Curran got the chance to talk to Kenny and showed him the the trophy.

The Navillus sponsored NY SFC final throws in at 3pm eastern time at Gaelic Park on Sunday Sept 28.

This will be the third year in a row that Kerry will play Leitrim in the final, with Kerry winning in 2013 and Leitrim emerging successful in the 2012 decider.

At half-time during the final, the New York boys and girls Féile Peil na nÓg teams will be honored for their achievements in Ireland in June.
