Rachel Wyse, Sky Sports said: "Having worked at Sky Sports for the last four years I'm delighted to be a part of this new venture with Sky and the GAA and also work alongside the team of experts we've lined up.

"Over the years I've presented on a number of different shows on Sky Sports but I'm particularly excited to showcase the talent of GAA players both to those who know the game and to a new audience, with the technology Sky is renowned for."

Jamesie O'Connor, lead analyst on hurling, remarked: "I see it as both a challenge and an opportunity to bring what Sky Sports does best in so many other sports, to the GAA. I'm delighted to be involved and am sure that everyone on the team is looking forward to rising to that challenge."

Peter Canavan, lead analyst for football, added: "I can't wait for our coverage of this year's Gaelic Football championship to get underway. The resources at our disposal to analyse the games are second to none and I'm really looking forward to working with the team and bringing GAA supporters such a high level of insight."

GAA fans with a Sky Sports subscription can watch live on TV, online and on mobile and tablet devices via Sky Go or the award-winning Sky Sports for iPad app, which are both free for subscribers to download at no extra cost.

Non-subscribers can also watch these games on mobile, by downloading the Sky Sports TV app where they can receive all six Sky Sports channels for €13.99 per month.
