McCardle Cup - Round 3 - TCG Juniors 2-18 - 0-8 Brother Pearses

The Juniors ensured safe passage through to the Semi Final of the McCardle Cup as they beat a physical Brother Pearses team on Saturday in Greenford. As the lads looked to build on Round 2's victory against St Clarets, they started strongly in the first half and some excellent attacking play from the forwards saw the Young Guns go into the half time break leading 1-07 to 0-3. Further solid play in the 2nd half and the utilisation of their excellent forwards off the bench meant the Juniors also dominated the 2nd half of the game as they eventually ran out winners with a final score line of 2-18 to 0-8.

The Club will be hosting a reunion for all players and members from the early 90's and will be honouring players from the 1992/93 championship winning team. This is an open invite to all past and current members. This will be held on Sat 28th October 2017. Further details to follow.
